For other PPO plans, we're happy to bill your insurance as a courtesy and help you maximize your available benefits, so you can focus on your care instead of navigating insurance alone.
Don't see your plan listed? We may still be able to work with it. Contact our team and we'll help verify your benefits.
You still have options
Dental insurance is not required to become a patient at Walnut Creek Dental. If insurance doesn't cover all of your recommended treatment, our team can help you look at other ways to manage the cost of care.

Treatment doesn't have to wait
While Walnut Creek Dental does not accept Medi-Cal Dental, we welcome many patients who have Medi-Cal and choose our office for services or treatments that may not be covered by their plan.
Between financing, monthly payment plans, and major credit cards, most patients find a way to move forward with the treatment they need.

Checking eligibility does not guarantee approval. Financing terms and eligibility are determined by Cherry.

8+ financing partners, one team to guide you
Walnut Creek Dental works with 8+ financing partners, each with its own application and qualification criteria, so we can help match you to an option that fits a wide range of credit profiles, including limited credit history.

Cherry
Patient financing with an online prequalification process that takes about 30 seconds. Checking eligibility uses a soft credit check and does not affect your credit score.
Our Other Financing Partners
Every patient's credit picture is different. Your treatment coordinator will help pair you with the option that fits, from full approval to more flexible terms.
In addition to these partners, select treatments may qualify for a customizable in-house payment plan arranged directly with our office.
Talk to Our Team About Payment OptionsFlexible payment options for dental implants and large treatment plans
Dental implants and full mouth reconstructions are a meaningful investment in your health, but you don't have to pay for the entire plan upfront.

Options for every situation
EXCELLENT / GOOD / FAIR / LIMITED HISTORYImplants and full mouth reconstructions are handled case by case, so your treatment coordinator builds a payment plan around the scope of your care, not a one-size-fits-all number.
From excellent credit to limited credit history, there's usually a path forward. If your first option doesn't fit, we'll help you look at the next one.
During your consultation, we'll map out the treatment first, then walk through the numbers and match you with a payment approach that fits your budget.
Don't let cost or credit concerns keep you from finding out what's possible.
Financing is subject to approval. Eligibility, terms, and payment amounts vary by financing provider.
Meet the team in your corner
Cost shouldn't be the reason care gets put off. Once we know the treatment that's right for you, your treatment coordinator sits down with you, walks through the numbers, and builds a plan around your budget, whether that means insurance, financing, or a mix of both.
Bring your questions and your budget. We'll bring the options.

Insurance and financing, answered
Q01Do you accept dental insurance?+
Yes. We accept many PPO dental insurance plans and are in-network with Delta Dental Premier. For other PPO plans, we're happy to bill your insurance as a courtesy and help you understand your available benefits.
Q02What if my PPO insurance isn't listed?+
Your PPO plan may still provide benefits here. Contact our team and we'll help verify your individual benefits and explain your options.
Q03Do you accept Medi-Cal Dental?+
We do not accept Medi-Cal Dental directly, but we do see patients who have Medi-Cal, particularly for services or treatments that may not be covered by their plan. We offer payment and financing options that may help.
Q04What if Medi-Cal doesn't cover the treatment I need?+
Our team can discuss other ways to pay for your care, including monthly financing, third-party financing programs, major credit cards, and in-house payment plans for select treatments.
Q05Do you offer monthly payment options?+
Yes. We work with 8+ financing partners, including Cherry, that offer monthly payment options for qualified patients. Terms depend on the provider, treatment amount, and individual approval.
Q06Can I get dental financing with bad credit?+
Possibly. Bad or limited credit doesn't necessarily mean you're out of options. Our financing partners serve a range of credit profiles, and our team can help you explore what's available to you.
Q07What if I'm declined by one financing company?+
A decline from one provider doesn't rule out others. We work with multiple financing resources, each with different qualification criteria.
Q08Does checking financing affect my credit?+
It depends on the provider. Some, including Cherry, allow you to check eligibility without a hard credit inquiry.
Q09Do you offer in-house payment plans?+
In-house payment plans may be available for select treatments. Ask our team about availability when discussing your treatment plan.
Q10What credit cards do you accept?+
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Yes. Qualified patients may have financing options for implants, full mouth treatment, and other larger plans through Cherry and our other financing partners, once treatment needs are determined.
Q12Can I use insurance and financing together?+
Depending on your benefits and financing provider, financing may be available for the portion of treatment insurance doesn't cover.
Q13What if I don't have dental insurance?+
That's okay. Insurance is not required to receive care here. We offer multiple payment and financing options to help make treatment more manageable.
